What are the legal ramifications of watching your content?
All the content served by Volotov has been copyright cleared for use on this website. Volotov has residual rights agreements in place with all relevent guilds and organisations.

Why do I have to register in order to watch your content?
We ask you to register in order to watch our content simply because we are still in beta-mode, testing different aspects of the system, and find that this is the most efficient way of managing traffic.

Some of your films are Public Domain - why do have to pay for these films?
There are two reasons. Firstly, as a well know business man once said, "you cannot put water in a can for less that 25 cents". It costs to create metadata, encode, host and distribute a film online and secondly, a film is made up of a bundle of rights so that even though a film itself may be in the public domain residual rights must still be paid to writers, actors, directors, music etc. We do try to charge the absolute minimum for these films.

To-date, Molotov Digital has been financed by a combination of personal investment by the development team, Enterprise Ireland Grants, revenue generated through sales.
